Disk One:

In the Garden
If you venture towards the right, Mia might find a Sparkly hidden in the grass. Next, Mia must propel herself into the vegetable garden to the left by using the popsicle stick near the flower pot as a seesaw. Click on the stick to position the right side towards the ground. Click again and Mia will get into position. Use one of the rocks (the bigger one is the right one, but why don’t you try the small one first and see what happens!) as a counterweight by clicking and dragging it to our heroine, she will do the rest!

In the Vegetable Garden
By walking or skating to the left, you will see Mia’s friends, the ants. They are comfortably sleeping but you will need to wake them up. Proceed further towards the left and look near the tennis ball. A bell or a flute might help us wake them up! Click on the object and Mia will gladly place it in her magic backpack. Now, go and click on the ants.

ANT ACTIVITY
(Numbers, recognition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
Solve the equation in Mia’s notebook and wait for the answer to appear. Click and drag it into the bin with the red and green lights. Once you have solved all 10 equations, you will have earned the lock for the ignition. Mia must now go to Mr. Mole’s burrow which is to the left of the tennis ball. Click on the gong to ring his doorbell. If he does not answer, you will need to find another Sparkly before speaking to him.

Mr. Mole’s Burrow
You will need to cross the bridge at your left. Make sure to click on the lever to deactivate the automatic sensor. Next, click on the magic eye to put the bridge in the proper position.

MAGIC EYE ACTIVITY (Descending order)
Connect the numbers by putting them in descending order (from the largest to the smallest). Once the bridge is down, walk towards the left and you will find Mr. Mole. Click on him to play the next activity and obtain the magic lever.

MINI MOLE ACTIVITY
(Geometry: shapes, solids, symmetry, angles)
To open the locks on the trunk that holds the magic lever, correctly identify the geometric shape described in the notebook.

Once you have completed the activity, return to the ramp at the entrance and click on it to climb out. Be careful, Romaine is there and will not let Mia by! Mia will have to go back to Mr.Mole and ask him for help. He will know another way out.

If you find his miner’s helmet with the light on it, Mr. Mole will show you a secret passage. The creature behind the tin door near the bridge has it and if you click on him at least twice, he will drop it down to Mia. Click on it to pick it up then go find Mr. Mole and his secret tunnel.
TUNNEL ACTIVITY
(Labyrinth of tunnels, spatial orientation, divisors, factors)
Move the mouse to see the different tunnels you can choose. Select the one that corresponds to Mr. Mole’s directions.

Professor Simon
Continue towards the right and you will find Professor Simon by clicking on the cardboard box hiding his workshop. Follow his instructions and you will obtain the clock Mia needs for the time machine.

CLOCK ACTIVITY (Days, hours, minutes)
Set the clock on the right to the day and time that corresponds to Professor Simon’s indications. Then, click on the green button to see if you are right. If you cannot remember what he said, refer to the indications above the clock. The clock on the left will maintain the original settings to help you.

Once you have earned the clock, make sure you have not overlooked any Sparklies and proceed to the right. You will see stairs made out of hockey pucks. Click on them to go outside. Find the hidden Sparkly and click on the knot in the log to find a secret passage.

LOG ACTIVITY (Playing with numbers)
Click on the numbers that correspond to the instructions you hear. This will give you access to the inventor’s workshop. It will be very dark inside, you will need to go to the extreme left in order to find the light switch. Many interesting inventions are stored here. Click on the right lever and you will see them in action! Walk to the right and click on the drawing on the wall (above the X on the ground). It will reveal the secret room.

ROBOTTO'S ACTIVITY (Arithmetic)
Follow Robotto’s instructions and you will find the key, the final part for the time machine! There are many keys in this device, but Mia only has room for one in her backpack. Listen carefully and find the right one by process of elimination.

To leave the inventor’s cave, you will need to pick up the drill bit that falls from the shelf, then insert it into the jack hammer in order to drill a passage through the ground. Mia will climb through and find herself near the patio in the yard. Walk or skate towards the right, but be sure to look all around you may spot one of Romaine’s evil cousins! After you pick up hidden Sparkly, proceed to the time machine. By clicking on it, you will give the missing parts to Marty and he will put them in place. Get ready to begin your journey through time!
