 Ditto
Although no one is really sure about which one of the twins was born first, Ditto feels that it is his responsibility to look after things including his sister Didi. Didi and Ditto share very similar personalities, which is something they will never admit to each other. There are however, some important differences. For example, Ditto moves a little slower and hates not being able to think things through. He likes to plan before doing something. Usually this is a good thing, but Didi knows how to use his moments of reflection to her advantage.

 Didi
Because Didi & Ditto are twins they share much of the same personality, making it easy for Didi to predict Ditto's next sentence or action. As Didi moves faster than Ditto, it allows her to always get somewhere first, which drives Ditto crazy, causing Didi love doing it all the more. They are both self-confident and pro-active and — although they will never admit it — they care deeply about each other. Because Didi sees Ditto as her younger brother, she feels responsible for him and tries to run his life like her own. |
Zolt
Lazy and always looking for a free meal, Zolt and his kind are some of the bad guys in Didi and Ditto’s world. The “Canis Mauvus” or “Purple Wolves” have the very peculiar trait of being vegetarians. The members of this pack of wolves are sworn to hide the little known fact that they are vegetarians from everyone.  The other wolves are carnivores, making for some very difficult moments when these cousin-clans invite the “Purple Wolves” to hunt with them. Zolt is always hungry, and his belly is always making embarrassing sounds, which is why he never hangs around with his own wolf pack.

 HipHop
One of a group of very energetic creatures that can be found in abundance in the Valley is the Yellow Rabbits. Fast and mischievous, these animals love to gossip and play practical jokes. Because HipHop suspects that the Purple Wolves prefer vegetables, they are his favorite target. Hiphop is fast and smart and loves picking on creatures bigger than himself. Since HipHop gets around and gossips with all his cousin rabbits in the Valley, he always knows what is going on and loves to tell stories. |
Couki
Couki is a very curious puppy. His nose is often getting him into trouble, but that won’t stop him from sniffing around. He loves to fetch sticks and, odly enough, considers G rumpy Bug, an old wasp, to be his master. Grumpy doesn’t seem to mind as long as he is not bothered during his frequent naps. Couki has a weird side: he always wants to be in the place where he is not. For example, if he is inside, he wants to be outside; if he is outside, he will want to be inside.

 Hootdini
This little owl loves magic and although she does not realize it, she is capable of a lot of really good magic tricks. The only problem is that for some reason her magic tricks never quite turn out as she expects them to. Most of the time the effects of her spells happen behind her back. So everyones sees the results but her. But she knows some of her magic works so nothing is going to stop her! |
 Grumpy Bug
This old bug is really a grump, but somehow we can tell that deep inside he has a soft spot. It’s finding his soft spot that is so hard! When the old hermit stopped using the house on the mountain, Grumpy moved right in and took over the whole house. He considers Cooki the dog as part of the package, making him the first bug to have a dog as a pet! |
Ouisy
Ouisy is a mischievous prairie dog. Practical jokes are his passion, to the point of sometimes annoying his friends and family. He gets his name from the odd laughing sound he makes when he thinks he has found or done something quite clever. Of course, what Ouisy thinks is clever is not always what everyone thinks is clever.
